Weather. Too many e.g. Phoenix, (US), etc.

Hi, I live on the border of Glendale and Phoenix, Arizona cities and both have many, many, e;g. Phoenix, (US), and Glendale (US) to choose from. You can select any of the same names from the dropdown lists and get a different temperature but have NO IDEA which states the city is being referred to/ It would be great to know which city to actually select! Thanks!
